It started with an orange tie and the imprint “100% renewable”: With this statement, back in 2007 very provocative, Matthias Willenbacher initiated the 100% renewable campaign to advertise an energy system consisting of the sun, wind and co. Out of this campaign he founded the 100 prozent erneuerbar stiftung in 2010. Matthias Willenbacher is an entrepreneur, investor and founder of juwi one of the biggest project developers for renewable energy systems in Germany and wiwin GmbH that was started by the juwi Invest GmbH. The studied physicist is also the author of the bestseller “Mein unmoralisches Angebot an die Kanzlerin” and contributed to the movie “Die 4. Revolution – Energy Autonomy”.
