Das Projekt ENGAGE untersucht das Potenzial sozialer Innovationen für eine erfolgreiche und inklusive Umsetzung der Energiewende.
The involvement of citizens increases the acceptance of the energy transition. This is where the ENGAGE research project comes in: The project explores the potential of social innovations in the energy transition and thus enables a successful and inclusive transformation. The aim of ENGAGE is to use and expand the participation potential of social innovations in the energy transition by, on the one hand, facilitating the social or financial commitment of citizens in energy transition projects and, on the other hand, promoting the further development of new social innovation projects in this area. For this purpose, the specially developed Energiewende-O-Mat is to become Germany’s central contact point and interactive decision-making aid for interested citizens who want to get involved in an energy transition project based on their geographical, technological, financial or social preferences.
